Further requirementsChoose between 120 to 160 credits in academic year
Over the third AND fourth year and with the permission of the Honours adviser, a maximum of 60 credits can be from 3000-level and 4000-level VIP modules supervised within the Department of Economics, ID4002, EC4422, EC4498, EC4499, and 3000- or 4000-level modules from another subject (known as "dip across").
Within the 60-credit limit, a student can take a maximum of 20 dip-across credits. Approval for the dip across will be required from the other subject.

Access to EC5205 - EC5207 is only available with the permission of the Director of Teaching to students in the Second Year of an Honours Programme who have achieved at least 17.5 in a relevant module, namely, EC3303 or EC3306 for EC5205, EC3302 or EC3305 for EC5206, in EC4401 for EC5207
