Students must take 60 credits per semester in order to complete the programme with a total of 120 credits. There are two basic pathways available within this programme:

Pathway 1:
• 40 credits of skills-based Academic English modules delivered by IE (IE1103 (20cr), IE1203 (20cr))
• 80 credits of 1000 level academic content modules delivered by Schools.

Pathway 2:
• 60 credits of skills-based Academic English modules delivered by IE (IE0101 (20cr), IE0201 (20cr), IE1102 (10cr), IE1202 (10cr))
• 20 credits of foundational academic content modules delivered by IE (taken from IE0154 (10cr), IE1150 (10cr), IE1151 (10cr), IE1152 (10cr), IE0255 (5cr), IE0256 (5cr), IE1250 (10cr), IE1251 (10cr))
• 40 credits of 1000 level academic content modules delivered by Schools
